Outer Banks is your next coming of age teen drama to obsess about on Netflix

If you’re looking for a new coming of age series to binge on Netflix, look no further than Outer Banks.

Over the last few years, Netflix has made a concerted effort to ramp up their coming of age programs and high school dramas. Whether it was with Stranger Things, 13 Reasons Why, On My Block, Sex Education or any other number of programs Netflix has made, they’ve been tremendous successes for the demographic they’re targeting.

If you’re a fan of any or all of those shows, or you’re a fan of classic coming of age dramas like The O.C., One Tree Hill or Dawson’s Creek, then you’re going to want to check out Outer Banks, a new Netflix Original that is now streaming globally.

Co-creators Jonas and Josh Pate and Shannon Burke wrote the 10 episodes for the debut season along with their team of writers. Burke and the Pate brothers also serve as executive producers.

The Outer Banks cast includes Chase Stokes, Madelyn Cline, Madison Bailey, Jonathan Daviss, Rudy Pankow, Austin North, Charles Esten, Drew Starkey, Adina Porter and Cullen Moss.
