Netflix is adding more than 100 new movies and shows in April 2020

The Last Kingdom season 4, After Life season 2, Community, and more good shows and movies are coming to Netflix in April 2020.

Netflix just announced more than 100 new movies and shows will be coming to the streaming service in April 2020! The streaming network shared the full list of new releases for next month, and there more than a few that you should be watching.

As we’ve come to expect, most of the good new releases are on the Netflix original side. In April, Netflix kicks off the month with The Iliza Shlesinger Sketch Show. It’s a new comedy series from Iliza Shlesinger, the comedian and star of the Netflix original film Spenser Confidential. The show premieres on April 1.

On the first day of the month, we also get to see Community, the full series, added to the streaming service!

On April 3, Netflix also adds the fourth season of the hit series Money Heist, aka La Casa de Papel, along with Coffee & Kareem, a new Netflix original movie starring Ed Helms, Taraji P. Henson and Terrence Little Gardenhigh. We highly recommend watching both the series and the new movie next month!

Later in the month, you should plan on watching Love Wedding Repeat, a new romantic comedy starring Sam Claflin, Olivia Munn, Eleanor Tomlinson, Joel Fry, Tim Key, Aisling Bea, and more. The film premieres on April 10.

After that, we highly recommend #blackaf, a new series from and starring Kenya Barris. Rashida Jones also stars in the series!

On April 24, Netflix is adding After Life season 2 starring Ricky Gervais and Extraction starring Chris Hemsworth and David Harbour. I recommend you watch both! After Life is one of the best Netflix shows of 2019. Extraction, on the other hand, is produced by the Russo brothers, who directed the latest Avengers movies, and it’s directed by Sam Hargrave, a former stuntman on the big Marvel movies.

We’re getting what I think will be the two biggest Netflix new releases at the end of the month, including The Last Kingdom season 4 on April 26 and Mindy Kaling’s new Netflix series, Never Have I Ever, on April 27. That’s going to be huge!

With those three shows and one movie coming out between April 24-27, you should be busy every day!

There are bunch of good, older movies coming to the streaming service next month, too, including The Matrix movies, the Lethal Weapon movies, Despicable Me, Sherlock Holmes, Django Unchained, The Artist, and more.
