5 ways Hopper could be saved in Stranger Things 4

Joyce and Murray

Joyce and Eleven are definitely the most affected by Hopper’s “death.” If there was a chance that he was alive, we know they would try to save him.

We also have that strange voicemail from Murrary that was released immediately after season 3. In the voicemail, Murray claims that he has information about something and Joyce needs to call him back. We all thought this was about Hopper, and now that Hopper is alive, it seems even more likely the call was about Hopper.

So, how could Joyce and Murray team up to get Hopper back? Well, we have to imagine that Murray, as a super-journalist, must have contacts all over the globe. Perhaps, he knows someone inside the Russian government or just in Russia that could confirm that Hopper is alive and give them his location?

I don’t know, but Joyce and Murray are not going leave their fellow Eagle’s Nest member behind.

US Military

We saw the US Cavalry, as Steve called them, arrive just a little too late to save Hopper and stop the Russians in Stranger Things 3, but I don’t think Dr. Sam Owens and the rest of the US Military is done with Hopper yet.

If there’s a chance he’s alive, I could see Dr. Owens send in a team to help bust him out of that prison camp and bring him back to the US. I think this is actually one of the more likely situations given what Hopper has meant to the US in the first three seasons.

Yes, he did blow up the whole operation they had going at the Hawkins Lab by his investigative efforts, but he also saved the world multiple times. Based on what he knows, it also makes him a very valuable asset.

Will special agents save him in Stranger Things 4? I think that’s a good possibility, especially if there is more trouble on the home front occupying the time of the Hawkins Heroes in season 4.
