1. Honey, I Shrunk the Kids

Honey, I Shrunk the Kids is a Disney classic from1989. The film follows scientist Wayne Szalinski (Rick Moranis) who is frantically working to perfect his experimental shrink ray. Unfortunately, he thinks it is a complete failure. He takes a break from the machine and decides to run errands.

His son, Nick (Robert Oliveri), accidentally hits a ball through the window of Wayne’s laboratory, and it hits the shrinking device. When Wayne’s two children and their two friends go up to the lab to retrieve the ball, the machine shrinks them.

Wayne comes back to the lab and in a fit of rage destroys the device and throws the remains along with the children in the trash. Now Nick, his sister Amy (Amy O’Neill), Russ Thompson (Thomas Wilson Brown) and his brother Ron (Jared Rushton) must escape the trash can and try to help their dad find a way to unshrink them.
