10. Nancy Wheeler

From shy girl to badass monster killer, Nancy continues to find who she is within herself as each season passes. From season 1 to season 3, Nancy has grown more than any other character as she has found confidence in herself and is starting to trust what her mind and heart is telling her.

She picked Jonathan to be her boyfriend. That’s the guy she loves. She gave the outcast a shot and we all appreciate and love that she did that. Nancy continues to be a fan-favorite but the question is, what does season 4 have in store for her? With Jonathan now moved out of town, will she and Steve reconnect? Will she find someone else?

All we know is thanks to Nancy’s never-back-down mentality, we can count on her to be in the middle of every battle. Nancy cracks the top 10.

9. Max Mayfield

Madmax. The Dig Dug master. Whatever it is you want to call Max, she was a perfect fit for the group. Not only did she catch Lucas’s heart, but she caught ours as well in season 2. The moment she stopped her brother Billy from killing Steve we knew she would be apart of the group for the long hall. Let’s not fail to mention what she did for Eleven in season 3. Helping to find herself and become her own person was a monumental step in Eleven’s growth. We also have to give props to Max for making Eleven realize that there’s more to life than stupid boys.

8. Lucas Sinclair

Lucas is the glue to the group. We know that he will always say what’s is on his mind whether it’s logical or not. He is the member who always thinks outside of the box and brings that never give up mentality. What really makes Lucas special though, is his loyalty. It was oil full display in season one when Eleven was first introduced to the group. He was skeptical and rightfully so. We aren’t sure where this group would be if it was for Lucas and his pinpoint slingshot accuracy.

7. Will Byers

Talk about somebody who has been through it all. Will was the least person we saw in season 1, but he grew on our hearts over the next two seasons. For all of the trauma and tribulations that he went through, it’s amazing how strong he continued to be through it all. In season 3, Will became an outlier himself. Lucas and Mike were dealing with their girl issues while Dustin was off taking down Russian spies. This left Will in his own little corner for a bit before making things right with the group again. We can’t wait to see what is in store for Will in season 4.

6. Steve Harrington

The best baby sitter Hawkins, Indiana has to offer is Mr. Steve Harrington. Let’s be honest, we never thought Steve was going to turn into the great guy that he is. I mean, for the most part of season 2 he was your typical high school jock. But once faced against the Demogorgon, Steve turned into a totally different person, a protective person.

His relationship with Dustin hits the heart in so many positive ways. And he seems to have found a new best friend in Robin. With every season that passes, Steve continues to grow into a better more mature young man. Season 4 will very intriguing for Mr. Harrington.
