2. With your significant other: Outlander

The holidays are also a time to spend with your significant other. If you’re looking for a show to watch, nothing says romance like the time-traveling Outlander. It takes a little bit of time for things to heat up between Jamie and Claire, but the wait is definitely worth it.

The chemistry between these two characters  takes the show to another level. Jamie and Claire prove time and again that no matter what happens or what separates them they always find their way back to each other.

The show has spiked up romance so much that there’s been an “Outlander Baby Boom.” Seriously, no joke. You can watch Caitriona Balfe (Claire) and Sam Heughan (Jamie) react to it in an E! News video.

And although there’s a lot of romance in the show, there’s also action, historical elements thanks to its 1740s and 1940s setting and political drama. This show has a little bit of everything for everyone to enjoy.

Netflix finally added the first two seasons earlier this year and the third season two weeks ago. Hopefully, the streaming service will have the fourth season available soon (a move they will probably make with how popular the show is) before the fifth season airs on Starz on February 16, 2020 – perfect timing for Valentine’s Day.
