4. A Christmas Prince series

Amber (Rose McIver) takes on an assignment in hopes of jump-starting her career as a successful and accomplished journalist. This task, however, is not a simple one! Amber is sent abroad to report (and hopefully interview) a handsome prince, Richard (Ben Lamb), who is soon to take on duties as king. The palace is no place for a king without a queen, though!

As Amber and Richard get to know each other, they find they share interests and begin to bond. Has he found his queen? And is Amber ready to give up her life back home, and the exclusive report she was sent to gather, to marry Prince Richard?

The story may seem sappy and predictable, and in all honestly, it’s all of those things! However, don’t be so quick to dismiss this romantic comedy movie! To each their own! If you’re a hopeless romantic searching for a movie to fall in love with this holiday season, watch A Christmas Prince.

What you’ll love most about this movie is that there are already two sequels also streaming on Netflix: A Christmas Prince: A Royal Wedding and A Christmas Prince: The Royal Baby. From the trio, I believe The Royal Baby features a bit more drama and mystery than the rest.

This series of movies will, unfortunately, not entertain the young ones. The Christmas Prince movies will be best enjoyed by the viewer alone wrapping up presents or prepping Christmas dinner. You could also invite friends over who enjoy romantic Christmas movies!
