Much like Eddie Murphy in Dolemite Is My Name, Sandler also scored a massive career win in the Netflix Film Murder Mystery as Nick Spitz, a New York cop who somehow manages to be both clueless and brilliant.

Fresh off the heels of another Netflix favorite, 2018’s Dumplin’ with Danielle Macdonald, Jennifer Aniston also has a starring role in Murder Mystery as Audrey Spitz, Nick’s wife.

In Murder Mystery, a long-awaited European vacation takes an unexpected turn when a fellow passenger, played by Luke Evans, invites the Spitzes on board a superyacht. After an aging billionaire, played by Terence Stamp, turns up dead, the Spitzes become the main suspects, embroiled in a web of family secrets and betrayals.

From rubbing elbows with the filthy rich to proving their innocence, the classic whodunit with that special Sandler charm earned the 2019 People’s Choice Award for Favorite Comedy Movie.
