Looking for something to watch this weekend as you recover from turkey comas? Here are five good movies to check out on Netflix this weekend (Nov. 30-Dec. 1).

There are some excellent movies dropping throughout the weekend, especially on Dec. 1. However, there are movies from last week that you may not have had the chance to stream yet. Get over your turkey comas with good movies on Netflix.

Of course, I’ve got to mention The Irishman. Chances are you watched it on Thanksgiving, but if you haven’t had the chance yet, it’s an honorable mention for this weekend. Here are five others.

5. Austin Powers movies

Technically, I’m cheating. There are three movies to watch, but definitely start with the first. Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery is the best and it’s where it all started, introducing us to the sexist but funny 1970s James Bond spoof of a character. It’s witty, fun, and easy to watch. Perfect for Thanksgiving weekend, right?

All three Austin Powers movies will drop on Dec. 1, so your Sunday is organized for you.

4. Guatemala: Heart of the Mayan World

If you’re interested in a historical documentary, then Guatemala: Heart of the Mayan World is a must-watch this weekend. It was the last drop of November, deling into the ancient Mayan cities. This documentary looks into the culture surrounding the Mayan world, based on the artifacts that still remain today.

You can watch it right now on Netflix.

3. I Lost My Body

For those who love animated movies and enjoyed AmelieI Lost My Body is something to check out this weekend. It’s already on Netflix to stream to your heart’s content. Being from the writer of Amelie, it should make sense that it’s a French-language movie, telling the story of a hand that has been cut off. It escapes from a dissection lab and heads out into Paris to reach its body once more, remembering the life with a young man.

2. Dead Kids

Didn’t think you’d be watching crime thrillers in the runup to Christmas? Well, Dead Kids is definitely something to put on your list this weekend, regardless. This Netflix movie is about a socially awkward teen who finds a tribe of sorts. He bonds with the school’s misfits to take out the arrogant rich kid at school. However, their kidnapping scheme turns deadly.

This movie, based on true events, is out on Dec. 1.

1. Holiday Rush

Finally, it’s one for the holidays. A Million Little Things fans will certainly want to flock to Holiday Rush, starring Romany Malco as a successful radio DJ, who is also a single father after his wife dies. He wants to give the kids everything possible, but when he loses his job, he realizes that what he was giving them wasn’t what they needed. We go on a journey of self- and family-discovery.

This truly heartwarming movie is already available to stream on Netflix.
