Noelle

Streaming Service: Disney Plus

Release Date: Nov. 12, 2019

Directed by Marc Lawrence

Starring Anna Kendrick, Bill Hader, Billy Eichner, Kingsley Ben-Adir, Julie Hagerty, and Shirley MacLaine

Noelle was the first live-action Disney Plus original movie, and it premiered the first day the streaming service launched.

The film tells the story of the Kringles, Christmas’s first family, as they try to get ready for their first Christmas without the family patriarch, Kris Kringle, also known as Santa. Nick (Bill Hader), Santa’s son, is taking over the big red suit in the place of his father, but he’s really struggling.

Noelle (Anna Kendrick), Nick’s sister, suggests he take a weekend trip to collect himself. When Nick decides to stay longer, Noelle and co. travel to Phoenix to try to convince her brother to return by Christmas.

This movie is a little bit The Santa Clause, a little bit Elf, and A LOT of fun! I loved Noelle, and I think you will too. Check it out on Disney Plus this Christmas.

If you haven’t signed up yet, you can sign up for the one-week free trial to see if you like it. There are some great options on there right now, and you can watch Noelle for free!
