19. Christmas with a View

What’s better than the holidays in a ski resort? That’s where Christmas with a View takes place. Clara is the restaurant manager at the Thunder Mountain Ski Resort and the gossip around the resort is that there is a new celebrity chef, Shane Roarke, who has come to work there. Clara couldn’t care less as she’s just trying to get resettled after having very little success opening a restaurant of her own.

But she soon finds him much more intriguing when she meets him. They have a lot in common, including wanting to own their own restaurants. It also doesn’t help that their paths keep crossing.  But there wouldn’t be much of a movie if the relationship didn’t hit some roadblocks.

They bond over food, go on dates, and get to know each other. They also have to deal with Clara’s maybe too supportive best friend cheering them on. Clara even takes Shane home for Christmas to meet her family.

But it all goes up in smoke when Clara gets the chance to run her own restaurant and Shane does not react how she expected him too. He seems too suspicious of the motives of the people offering her this chance.
