Halloween is a time for pumpkins, cinnamon, candles, cobwebs, autumn leaves, eating too many sweets and scary movies. Luckily, Netflix UK has a bunch of scary movies to get you through the holiday.

It can be difficult to find a good horror movie.  Sometimes they are too cheesy. Sometimes they are too predictable. Personally, I’m a massive fan of horror and could watch scary movies all year round but Halloween is definitely the best time of year to watch a spooky movie.

Whether you’re a pro or scared of everything, with friends or alone, there will be something on this list you can sink your teeth into. So curl up on the sofa, put the kettle on and get ready to be scared just in time for Halloween!

15.FROM DUSK TILL DAWN

This is one of my all-time favorite movies. FROM DUSK TILL DAWN is fast-paced, funny and definitely creepy! Also, who doesn’t love vampire bikers and watching them improvise when it comes to making weapons? Clooney and Tarantino certainly know how to!

In the film, Seth and Richard Gecko are brothers on the run after a bank robbery and need to get over the border and into Mexico without getting caught. Along the way, they pick up a family. Holding them hostage, the brothers jump in the back of this family’s RV and cross the border into Mexico only to discover a roadside bar where the locals aren’t what they appear to be.

Expect gore, blood, and some major butt-kicking.

Why I love this movie so much:

• It’s classic B horror and Tarantino at his finest.
• There is a great story of two brothers and how they would die to save each other despite the problems either may have.
• The story of a small family who are falling apart behind the curtains but manages to stay strong for one another.
• It’s a fight for survival, A fight to the death, it’s kill or be killed, and they won’t go out without a bang.
