If you are interested in watching the new season as soon as it’s available to stream, you have to stay up until 12:01 a.m. PT on Friday, Oct. 4 to watch the new season. You can bet there will be some die-hard fans who stay up late Thursday night and binge-watch the full season before some people wake up on Friday morning.

As always with new seasons of Peaky Blinders, you should be wary of spoilers. Season 5 premiered on Aug. 25 on the BBC in the UK. The season finale aired a few weeks later on Sept. 22. There are six episodes in the new season. Because everyone has seen the new season across the pond, you should watch out for spoilers on social media.

Technically, the show is still a Netflix original series because Netflix distributes the series around the world.

Peaky Blinders season 5 picks up two years after the events of season 4 on Black Tuesday in 1929. The crash is obviously felt in Birmingham and among the Peaky Blinders. Tommy Shelby will have his work cut out for himself this season if he’s going to hold it all together.

Fortunately, it takes a long time between seasons of Peaky Blinders, so there’s a good chance we could be waiting another 18 months or so until we see season 6. That’ll give you plenty of time to watch season 5.
