The first trailer for AMC’s Untitled: The Walking Dead movie hinted at a story set in Philadelphia by featuring the city’s skyline, but the image might have been more misleading than we thought.

Without much information to go off of, it’s easy to see how fans were confused by the teaser trailer for AMC’s The Walking Dead movie. Scott Gimple and Robert Kirkman have kept their lips sealed on the matter as well, shrouding the untitled movie in even more mystery. The good news is that we may have determined a key piece of info about the Untitled: Walking Dead movie all on our own.

Warning! Spoilers ahead.

As many eagle-eyed fans noticed — no pun intended — the backdrop used in the teaser depicts Philadelphia’s skyline of buildings. The surroundings are dark so we can’t tell what’s happening in the vicinity but there’s one clue that most audiences have overlooked.

Based on what the clip shows in those brief 0:24 seconds, the helicopter which flies into the frame isn’t navigating within Philly’s city limits. The chopper actually takes flight from a helicopter pad nearby. It’s difficult to see in the short clip, but after examining the screen’s bottom portion, a red light can be seen atop the landing pad in question. This is important because an identical red light blinks on the helicopter’s rotor which confirms the connection.

While this detail may seem insignificant, it creates the basis for a slightly new theory to take hold. What we’re suggesting is that the Walking Dead movie takes place on the city’s outskirts instead of within the metropolis itself.

There’s also a possibility that the group known as CRM is stationed outside of Philadelphia due to the city’s inhabitants being undead. That doesn’t explain why they’d waste fuel flying into the city but perhaps they have no choice. If the group intends to fix the world, risking their lives to retrieve a gamechanger from within could be necessary.

Come to think of it, acquiring assets like Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) makes CRM look like they’re recruiting survivors for such a mission. If that’s the case here, Rick will probably be tasked with retrieving said items from inside the city. The question is: What could be so important to CRM? Is there a cure to the zombie infection there?
