The second Ciarán Foy movie on the list is a new release set to debut as a title for Netflix and Chills. The movie originally went into production in late 2017 but had trouble with its distribution rights which was why it was delayed. Eli was set to release in theatres from Paramount Pictures but the studio didn’t know how to market the film so Netflix took over the distribution.

Eli follows an 11-year-old boy who travels to an isolated clinic to get treatment for a debilitating and rare disease after exhausting all other options. He undergoes experimental treatment after being secluded by the world but he and his parents soon find that the facility is not what they expected. The family then realizes that the clinic is a haunted prison and there’s no way out.

After acquiring a January 2019 release, the film will finally make its debut on Oct. 18th. It notably stars Sadie Sink who is no stranger to Netflix. The young actress portrays Max on the hit series, Stranger Things. The film has reportedly tested well with audiences prior to its wide release.
