Anyone looking for something more family-friendly to watch this Halloween season, be sure to check out anything Goosebumps related. Netflix currently has the sequel to the 2015 movie adaptation but it also served as a stand-alone movie. Those who grew up reading R.L. Stine’s novels will get a kick out of all the familiar characters that make an appearance.

Goosebumps 2 centers on two young boys, Sonny and Sam (Taylor and Harris), who attempt to clean up an abandoned house when they find an unpublished manuscript of a book called Haunted Halloween. After opening the book, which unleashes Slappy the Dummy. The boys bring him back to life and he wreaks havoc around town along with other Goosebumps characters. Sonny and Sam then turn to R.L. Stine (Black) for help before the monsters destroy their town.

Jack Black was the only person from the first film to reprise his role for Goosebumps 2. Although it wasn’t as successful as the first in terms of box office performance, it was still considered to be a fun-filled holiday movie for viewers of all ages.
