1. Stranger Things
While Stranger Things may not be the scariest show around, it’s definitely creepy enough to give you a few nightmares (the Demogorgon and the Mind Flayer are no joke), and is the perfect show to binge-watch on Halloween. Grab a box of Eggos and watch Eleven and the gang take down the monsters that are taking over Hawkins.
Is there really a better way to spend Halloween than by watching Mike, Dustin, Lucas, and Eleven search for Will, Joyce and Hopper hunt down facts, or Nancy and Jonathan shoot down the Demogorgon in the first season?
Who doesn’t want to watch Eleven be an absolute warrior while in the big city and then come back to close the Upside-Down for good? Or watch Hopper finally get the chance to be a father again in season 2? And if you don’t want to see the Scoop Troop fight off the Russians or Eleven and Max’s friendship in season 3, are you even human?
If you binge all three seasons over the weekend of Halloween, you can then discuss with your friends what you think happened to Hopper (He’s alive! There is no other option), where you think season 4 will go now that the group is split up, and what monster will attack next.
If you’re looking for something that’s going to scare the pants off of you, this is probably not it. But if you’re looking for a bit of 80s horror nostalgia, Stranger Things is where it’s at!
You can currently stream all three seasons of the show on Netflix.
