8. Riverdale

Ok, sure Riverdale isn’t the scariest or spookiest show out there, but occasionally, it definitely gives off some creepy vibes. The opening scene of season 1 could easily be a part of any good horror movie. The Blossom twins certainly have an eerie way about them.

And with all the weird, absurd, and scandalous things that happen on this show, it’ll certainly keep you entertained if nothing else. Put on your costume (bonus points if you’re dressed up like one of the characters), grab a bowl of candy, and wonder how Archie is alive after all the crazy shenanigans he gets up to. Only in a small town could a teenage boy start a vigilante group and not end up in jail (at least not for that).

But Archie isn’t the only character you can enjoy on the best fall holiday of the year (sorry, not sorry, Thanksgiving). There’s also Betty Cooper who sometimes lets out her dark side and also makes bad decisions like threatening people and going after a killer by herself. Or Veronica Lodge who has to deal with her father’s evil and corrupt deeds.

And we cannot forget Cheryl, possibly the best character on the entire show. She can be seen getting revenge on her family, shooting arrows at killers, and hanging out with her new gang, the Pretty Poisons.

Whoever your favorite character is, Riverdale has enough murder, fights, drama, murder trials, and scandal to make it the perfect series to watch on Halloween. And with three seasons available on Netflix, you should have plenty of episodes to keep you entertained all night.

Plus, there’s a Halloween episode coming in season 4!
