Peaky Blinders season 5 will be added to Netflix on Oct. 4, 2019, according to the official See What’s Next Twitter account, which is one of the many accounts Netflix uses to announced TV and movies news along with release dates.

The new season of the hit series premieres on BBC One in the United Kingdom on Aug. 25, 2019. The season consists of six episodes, like the first four seasons, and the season finale will likely air on Oct. 3. On the next day, the series will be available to stream on Netflix US.

Technically, Peaky Blinders is a Netflix original series in the United States. The streaming network owns the distribution rights to the series in the US, and that’s why it is considered a Netflix original series.

There are a few new faces joining the cast of the series. Sam Claflin, Anya Taylor-Joy, Kate Dickie, Emmett Scanlan, and Brian Gleeson will be involved in the new season. We don’t know much about their roles, but we’ll likely find out soon.

It’s been a while since we have seen new episodes of Peaky Blinders. Season 4 premiered on Netflix US in December 2017. We were hoping to see the new season last year, but that was not the case. It took a little longer than usual to release season 5. Hopefully, the show continues to get better and better.

It’s been reported that there will be two more seasons after Peaky Blinders season 5, and the show will end after season 7, according to Digital Spy. Based on how long the gaps are in between these seasons, it’ll probably be quite a while until we see season 6 of the series.
