The Walking Dead season 9 is coming to Netflix in September 2019! Make sure you watch the full season before season 10 premieres in October.

The Walking Dead season 9 is coming to Netflix very soon!

Fans of the series can watch the previous season AMC’s The Walking Dead on Netflix sometime in September 2019. Netflix has not announced the official release date for the full season.

Usually, old seasons of the series are added to Netflix about two weeks before the new season premieres on AMC. Last year, season 8 was released on Netflix on Sept. 23, and season 9 premiered two weeks later on Oct. 7.

The Walking Dead season 10 premieres on AMC on Sunday, Oct. 6. If season 9 hits Netflix two weeks before the season 10 premiere, fans will be able to start their binge-watch of season 9 on Sunday, Sept. 22.

That’s the best we can do for a release date right now. Netflix will likely announce the full list of what’s new on Netflix in September in the next week or so, and we’re expecting The Walking Dead season 9 to be on that list.

What’s on Netflix is reporting The Walking Dead season 9 will be released on Netflix on Sunday, Sept. 1. We were not able to confirm that release date on Netflix, but it’s well within the release date range for old seasons of The Walking Dead.

For example, season 7 of The Walking Dead was released on Netflix on Sept. 8, 2017. Season 8 premiered on AMC about six weeks later on Oct. 22, 2017. There’s definitely a chance the new season of the series will be added to the streaming service on the first day of September.

The first eight seasons of the series are currently streaming on Netflix. It’s time to start watching season 8 to make sure you are caught up before the ninth season hits Netflix next month.

The Walking Dead season 10 will also be coming to Netflix. You’ll probably have to wait about a year from now to watch the new season on the streaming service from the release date of season 9 on Netflix.
