From THE couch to Phoebe’s singing corner, Friends LEGO studio set has it all including mini-LEGO figures of the lovable cast – Ross Geller, Rachel Green, Chandler Bing, Monica Geller, Joey Tribbiani, Phoebe Buffay, and of course, Central Perk’s manager Gunther!
According to LEGO‘s official description of the product, the set of 1,079 bricks also includes Ross’ keyboard, Rachel’s tray and coffee cup, Joey’s pizza slice, pizza box, and ‘man bag,’ Gunther’s broom, Monica’s muffin, Chandler’s laptop, and Phoebe’s guitar.
To make the Friends LEGO Central Perk set more realistic and similar to the show, there is also a coffee machine, two extra chairs, cash counter, a cookie jar, performance stage, lights, a window, Central Perk board sign, entrance doors, an umbrella stand with two umbrellas, a newspaper, 15 coffee cups, a “reserved” sign and several vases and flowers. The LEGO set is ‘4” (11cm) high, 11” (29cm) wide and 8” (22cm) deep’ in size and will be available to purchase starting next month. And, keeping in mind the WILD popularity of the evergreen sitcom, this anniversary collectible is going to run out of stock real quick! Keep an eye on it by adding the Friends LEGO set to your wish list here.
Released in 1994, the American television sitcom created by David Crane and Marta Kauffman for NBC ran successfully for ten whole seasons and came to an end in 2004. During its time, Friends bagged dozens of prestigious awards and found its way to multiple critics’ list of ‘must-watch TV shows.’
If all this nostalgic talk is making you wanna watch your favorite show once again, you can stream it on Netflix. However, keep in mind that the show is running there on borrowed time and will be leaving Netflix next year to join HBO’s streaming service, as reported by Variety. So you know, watch Friends all you want while you still can!
And well, next month you can get your hands on the LEGO set and direct your own new episode of Friends – The One with All The LEGOS!
