New on Netflix: 22 new movies and shows available to stream today

August is finally here which means we have an absolute ton of new movies and TV sows to tune into. Here are the 22 new movies and shows available to stream on Netflix today.

Here we go again, Netflix fans. It’s a brand new month, which means we will be firmly placed on the couch for the next few days while we watch all the Netflix new releases that just arrived.

As always, new content will be dropping as the month goes on, but it is the very beginning of the month where we get the biggest number of new movies and shows. From a variety of different movies and TV shows, there are a total of 22 titles, all of them are available as of today, Aug.1, and among them are some truly standout titles.

In terms of movies, Rocky fans are really going to be glad they have signed up for Netflix; as Rocky, Rocky II, Rocky III, Rocky IV, and Rocky V are all now officially available to stream. Rocky marathon parties are about to get started all across the nation.

Some other really great classic movies now on Netflix include Four Weddings and a Funeral and Groundhog Day. You can also check out The Bank Job, which stars Jason Statham as a struggling car dealer turned bank robber, Jupiter Ascending, and Sex and the City: The Movie.

In terms of TV shows there are only a couple new shows now available to stream, but it is so good that is more than enough right now, The Sinner: Julian. Starring Bill Pullman, the story continues for the detective who hunts for answers to the murder that took place in a small town. A search that has led to more secrets being unfolded that anything else.
