Orange is the New Black season 7 is coming to Netflix next week

The final season of Netflix’s comedy-drama Orange Is the New Black is only a week away from us. Are you ready to bid Piper and the other ladies of Litchfield goodbye?

For the last six years, the gang of Litchfield Penitentiary has given us some of the best laughs and become a major part of our lives. First premiered on Netflix in 2013, Orange Is the New Black is easily one of the best shows ever made and its popularity is so wild, that the comedy-drama show was renewed by the streaming giant for its 7th season!

But, since all good things come to an end, season 7 of Orange Is the New Black will also be it’s LAST. The ladies dressed in orange are returning once again but for the last time. Catch OITNB’s power-packed finale on Netflix this July 26, the countdown has begun!

What can you expect from the final season? The official trailer of the last installment was unveiled a few weeks back and it was an emotional rollercoaster. In the clip, we see Piper finally leaving the Penitentiary and trying to adjust in the real world and the other women moving ahead with their own adventures.

As per the cast, everybody we love is coming together for a big final show. Taylor Schilling, Laura Prepon, Michael Harney, Michelle Hurst, Kate Mulgrew, Jason Biggs, Uzo Aduba, Danielle Brooks, Natasha Lyonne, Taryn Manning, Adrienne C Moore, and Dascha Polanco are all returning to reprise their respective roles.

Jenji Kohan, creator of Orange Is the New Black revealed that the show wrapped filming in February by posting a picture of the whole cast and the crew on her Instagram profile. “This is a family,” she captioned the post. I am not crying, you are!

Laura Prepon, too, shared a heartfelt message with her fans on Twitter.

Well, thank YOU Orange Is the New Black for being one gem of a show and entertaining us all these years! Now, bring on that finale!
