Money Heist returns with Part 3 tonight, promising a bigger season with an even bigger heist, as the group prepares to pull off the ultimate robbery to save one of their own.

Originally a Spanish limited series on Antena 3, Netflix acquired Money Heist (La Casa de Papel in its original language) and re-cut the episodes from its original 15 to 22. Proving to be a hit, Netflix renewed the series for Part 3.

The new episodes of Money Heist will be released on Netflix at 12:01 a.m. PT on Friday, July 19, 2019.

It’s been a wonder how the show could potentially continue, but based on the trailer, there’s still plenty to tell. As each member of the group looks to move on and to enjoy life, Rio (Miguel Herran) is captured. From there, each is drawn back in for the biggest heist of their lives in order to create enough noise and to turn the public against the government for his release.

Money Heist, in Part 1 and Part 2, is a grand and elaborate plan long in the making, where The Professor (Alvaro Morte), always meticulous, is able to outsmart anyone in his path. With a plan that is potentially less prepared and emotionally driven to save Rio, will he find himself in over his head for the first time?

Previously, The Professor found himself pitted against brilliant investigator Raquel (Itziar Ituno). With how things ended in Part 2, with her traveling to find him, it will be interesting to see where things landed between them.

With those that survived the heist last time all returning, all of our fan favorites should be more than ready to face the new, more dangerous threat and the bigger stakes they hold.

Some new characters will appear in the new season, including Palermo (Rodrigo de la Serna) and Bogota (Hovik Keuchkerian), who will hopefully fill the void left by those not returning. Though from the looks of the trailer, some thought to be gone may be returning somehow.

Here is the trailer for Part 3:

From the trailer, it certainly looks more action-packed, as the Royal Bank of Spain becomes a central focus after their original heist of the Royal Mint. Let’s hope it doesn’t become too impossible.

Money Heist is a vastly entertaining show, and with its return imminent, there’s a lot of anticipation for it to meet expectations. Part 3 looks to be a lot of fun ahead, and it’s almost here!
