Just started binging Stranger Things 3 and doubting Dustin’s girlfriend from science camp truly is “hotter than Phoebe Cates?” We’ve got answers! Spoiler alert!!!

Stranger Things 3 premiere gets right back to it! We are quickly caught up with the gang and learn what everyone has been up too. El (Millie Bobby Brown), Mike (Finn Wolfhard), Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin, Will (Noah Schnapp), Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo) and Max (Sadie Sink) continue being close friends.

Dustin has been away at a science camp, also known as Camp Nowhere, for the past month. “Chapter One: Suzie, Do You Copy?” sees Dustin returning from camp and warmly greeted by his friends. Dustin’s happy to be back, and he has some big news to share with his friends (besides the very cool inventions he brings home): he has a girlfriend, Suzie, and she’s perfect and hotter than Phoebe Cates (Gremlins).

He also enlists the help of his Part members to make a long hike up to the highest hill in Hawkins to set up a radio tower, so Dustin and Suzie can communicate. She’s from Salt Lake City, and her parents are Mormon, so there’s no way that her parents would allow Dustin and Suzie to date with Dustin not being Mormon and all.

Again, there are spoilers for Stranger Things 3 below. Continue at your own risk!

If you find yourself here, it’s likely because you have watched a few episode and have not yet seen any evidence of Suzie being real. Too impatient to find out the truth? You’ve come to the right place.

Fellow Stranger Things fans, how dare you doubt Dustin’s claims?!

Didn’t you learn anything from El? Friends don’t lie. Dustin’s girlfriend Suzie is very much real. She’s a very pretty girl and a genius!

When will you see her? Suzie appears in the final episode, “Chapter Eight: The Battle of Starcourt,” close out the final act. We won’t spoil what Suzie does or why she makes an appearance in the season, but let’s just say Dustin is very lucky to have her.

Dustin does bring her up a couple of times after his failed attempt to communicate with her in episode 1. In episode 2, “Chapter Two: The Mall Rats,” Dustin catches up with Steve (Joe Keery) and tells him all about Suzie. Dustin tells Steve that Suzie doesn’t even care about his teeth still coming in, “she says kissing is better with no teeth.” Steve’s face to that comment is everything!

Now that you know Suzie is 100 percent real, go finish binging the remaining episodes of Stranger Things 3!
