Nike debuts Stranger Things collection

Nike has teamed up with Stranger Things to take us all back to the 80s. You’ll be able to pick up some cool shoes and apparel thanks to the collaboration.

Nike just released the first look at the Stranger Things apparel and shoe collection, and they shared details about the new merch.

Over the years, merchandising has held an important place in pop culture. Without it, many shows, movies and even books that we love might not have been as popular as they are now. Can you imagine if you couldn’t buy a shirt with your favorite character on it?

Stranger Things is taking its merchandising game to the next level with a team up with Nike. Not only will there be Hawkins High School shirts that you can buy, but you’ll get to go back to the 80s with some cool shoes.

According to Nike, the shoe styles that will be available are the Blazer, Cortez and Tailwind styles. These styles were big in the 80s and are some great, realistic choices for this collaboration. Do you have a favorite style of the three?

The first wave of the collaboration arrives on June 27. It will include apparel and shows that use Hawkins High School’s green and orange color scheme. Just ahead of 4th of July, the second set of shoes will drop in red, white and blue on July 1.

Green and orange wouldn’t be my first choice of color schemes when it comes to buying shoes, but based on the images Nike released with the news, not every show will have a heavy amount of orange on them. The red, white and blue color scheme is more appealing to me, but the great thing about this collaboration is that it looks like there will be plenty of options for fans to decide which color scheme and show style they like best.
