In new movies, I’m personally most excited to catch the release of I Am Mother on Friday, June 7. This Netflix original sci-fi flick stars a small team of women, to include Rose Byrne, Hilary Swank and newcomer Clara Rugaard. It’s tense, action-packed story centers on a young girl who is born and raised underground following a global extinction event. Looks pretty exciting!

Fans of the Brazilian dystopian drama 3% will be excited to see the series returning for its third season on Friday, June 7. This is a great series to dive into, especially if you crave interesting characters or young adult dramas.

A heavy hitting new release this weekend is Designated Survivor season 3. This is the first season that Netflix will be producing since obtaining the rights to the political drama back in September of last year.
