4. Is this the time for the Riverdale-Chilling Adventures of Sabrina crossover?

There’s been a lot written about the Riverdale-Chilling Adventures of Sabrina crossover. Because of the major interest in this happening, I have to imagine Warner Bros. TV, The CW and Netflix see the mutual benefit of making it happen.

If the shows were on the same network, like they were going to be, this crossover would definitely happen. Because it exists on two networks, it’s a little more challenging.

To me, it makes sense to do the crossover in Part 3. Sabrina’s story could take a drastic turn in the next few episodes, and that’s why it would be perfect to open Part 3 with Archie, Jughead and Betty taking a little spin to Greendale on some sort of investigation. It could be a one-off story; it doesn’t need to tie into either show. Fans just need this to happen, and it’d be really fun.

Realistically, this is the only time this type of thing would work because of production schedules so far. Riverdale season 3 just wrapped in Vancouver in April, and Chilling Adventures of Sabrina Part 3 is starting production very soon.

Would it be so hard to keep a few of the Riverdale stars around for a few days or bring them back early? I think not.
