Black Mirror is the most anticipated show on Netflix in June

TV Time has released its Anticipation Report for the month of June, detailing the top 5 shows fans are most looking forward to see return – and Black Mirror is No. 1!

The Anticipation Report is divided into two categories: New Shows premiering in June and Returning Shows coming back in June. It’s the returning category that Netflix takes over, having three Netflix Originals out of five spots available. What are fans looking forward to most besides Black Mirror? Let’s have a look!

First, the new premieres. HBO’s Euphoria, starring Zendaya as a recovering drug addict tops the chart. Other shows on the list include Grand Hotel on ABC, NOS4A2 on AMC, and Too Old To Die Young, debuting on Prime Video.

Now for the category you all came to see, the returning shows. As we previously mentioned, the anthology series, Black Mirror, is a clear favorite at No. 1! All three episodes from its fifth season premiere June 5.

In second place, you’ll find Dark, another Netflix Original, which debuts its second season. Interestingly enough, the sci-fi series has already been renewed for a third season, which will be set up as the closing season, ahead of its release. Dark season 2 is available to stream on June 21.

Finally, for Netflix, at No. 5 you’ll find 3%, a Brazilian dystopian thriller that drops June 7. This series is very intriguing and I predict will become Netflix’s next big hit. Do you plan on watching?

The two other shows that complete the Top 5 most anticipated returning shows are Big Little Lies on HBO and The Handmaid’s Tale on Hulu.

What’s your take? Is there a series you are most looking forward to premiering on Netflix? Frankly, I’m surprised Jessica Jones isn’t anywhere on the list. It’s possible the data was put together before fans knew when the third season of Jessica Jones would premiere.

Netflix has dominated the streaming game for the month of May with Lucifer taking home the title of most-binge-watched show of the month. We’re still waiting for that Lucifer season 5 renewal, though.
