Friends donât lie â Mike and Eleven
Elevenâs main motto throughout the entire series is also the perfect way to wrap up this list. This one simple line best encapsulates the whole meaning and message of the show. Stranger Things is a show set in the 1980s, during a time before cell-phones and the internet.
Growing up is hard if you donât have friends with you to back you up you were alone. Friends to any kid or teenager are important but especially during those days when you formed relationships that would forge your whole life journey.
It is only with the help of friends that we can accomplish great things, by leaning on those people who care about and love you. Thatâs how the core group of kids in Stranger Things get by. They work together, solve any differences they might have and donât isolate themselves. You have to know you can rely on your friends and you do that by making sure that they donât lie to you.
Eleven learned the concept of friendship, trust and reliance from the friends that she makes in the first season and continues to make as the show goes on. Itâs from Eleven that sometimes the rest of the boys need to be reminded to rely on their friends for support.
So hereâs to friends, hereâs to Stranger Things, and hereâs to important memorable lines to live by.
Stranger Things 3Â is coming out on July 4!
