We knew the time would come but that doesn’t make us happy. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is leaving Netflix in June. Make sure you watch it a few times first.

With the Disney+ streaming service coming in the fall, we knew that the Marvel movies would start to leave Netflix. They’ve already been leaving and next up is Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, which we’ll see leave Netflix in June.

You’ve still got time to watch it a few times. In fact, you’ve got this weekend to make sure you get at least one watch of the movie that brought us all the love that is Baby Groot. C’mon, you’re not saying you didn’t laugh at every scene he was in. Maybe it’s just me as a parent seeing my toddlers in this character.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is leaving Netflix on June 5. Like I said, you have this weekend and the whole of the next two weeks to watch the movie a few times.

This is definitely one of the movies you want to watch. The Guardians manage to keep all the humor within the drama, and they never take themselves too seriously. However, there are some heartfelt moments, especially when it comes to Yondu!

The second movie in the Guardians franchise sees Quill learn more about his father. He’s spent years telling people that his dad is David Hasselhoff, but he finds out that his dad is actually a God-like being that wants to destroy the whole of the universe to create a Utopia of sorts. Yeah, that’s exactly what Quill really wants to do!

There are some excellent moments for the various characters throughout this movie. We get to see Quill and Gamora continue growing their relationship, Drax connects with Mantis, and Baby Groot, Rocket, and Yondu do some hilarious bonding with toes, desks, and more after mutiny on the ship.
