6. Hawkeye Series

Hawkeye is getting his own Marvel series at Disney+! The news broke in April that the show was in the works and Jeremy Renner will reprise his role of Clint Barton aka Hawkeye in the series.

We don’t know much about the new series yet, but according to a report from Variety, the series will focus on Clint and his protegé, Kate Bishop. Clint, or so it appears, wants out of the superhero game, and Kate is the perfect one to take his place.

There’s a lot of history here from the comics that will be used in this series, and it should be really cool for fans of Young Avengers and Kate’s character. Could this be the beginning of Young Avengers at Disney Plus? I think there’s a good chance for that!

Marvel has not announced the name of the Hawkeye series. After Avengers: Endgame, which showed how hard Clint took it after his family was Snapped, it’s clear he isn’t going to leave them again, and that’s probably why he is training Kate to take over the role of Hawkeye and the super-skilled marksman for the Avengers.

This is also a great way to send Renner out. I think it’s clear he has other opportunities, and after being in so many of these movies, the franchise bringing in a fresh cast is a good thing, ultimately.
