Will Chambers be renewed for season 2?

Will Chambers be renewed for season 2? Find out if the Netflix horror drama series starring Uma Thurman and Tony Goldwyn will get a second season.

Will Chambers be renewed for season 2? The newest of the Netflix Originals premiered last Friday, and many viewers have already binge-watched the entire first season, leaving them to wonder if Netflix will order Chambers season 2.

There’s certainly an argument for doing so: the horror-thriller features impressive performances by Tony Goldwyn (Scandal) and Uma Thurman (Kill Bill) as the parents of a deceased prom queen with plenty of dark family secrets. They’re the perfect parents who everyone loves—of course, until you pull back the curtain.

Over the ten episodes of the first season, Chambers wove a twisted tale about the death of Ben and Nancy Lefevre’s (Goldwyn and Thurman) daughter, and the young woman who received her heart. But it wasn’t just an organ transplant; Becky Lefevre (Lilliya Reid) literally lived on through the other girl, influencing her thoughts and actions.

Without giving too much more away for anyone who hasn’t started it yet, the season was a bona fide thriller and mixed teen drama with horror pretty well. So will Chambers be renewed?

Netflix hasn’t made any decision about Chambers season 2 yet. It may come down to the most basic decision: is there another compelling story to tell next season? It has a unique premise, but it’s so unique that there’d have to be a good reason to continue—not just pulling the story of Becky and Sasha (Sivan Alyra Rose) on.

But with Netflix having axed many of their older original series this year, this would be a great show for it to build upon while it restocks its exclusive programming.
