If you are a massive fan of Blue Planet or Planet Earth, then our next Netflix original needs no real introduction. Our Planet is set to arrive during the beginning of the month, April 5, and you can bet it will be just as astounding as Blue Planet.

Our Planet is a science nature documentary series. Created by the team who brought us Blue Planet, Our Planet will look at the natural beauty of planet earth and will examine the effects of climate change not just on some, but all living creatures.

Narrated by the wonderful Sir David Attenborough, this series will be an inspiring documentary series which is suitable for the entire family.

Blue Planet was, visually, a masterpiece. It delivered scenes unlike anything we have ever seen before, and you can expect the same level of quality filmmaking when it comes to Our Planet.

Netflix has released an official promo trailer for the new Netflix original and it shows how far and wide the team has traveled filming this documentary series.

In the trailer, we’ve got penguins, whales, tigers, lions, elephants, what appear to be rainforest frogs and birds, monkeys, polar bears, what I believe is a moose, and more. They have filmed all over the world creating Our Planet, which means on April 5, we get to travel the world, too.

If you have never watched a nature documentary before, then this is a great place to start. Attenborough and his team have always brought something special to the table when creating their nature programs. They’re unlike anything else and deserve to be watched.
