Since all the Marvel films are headed to Disney’s new streaming service, they are slowly being removed from Netflix. Here are the films leaving in 2019.

With Avengers: Endgame coming out soon and Captain Marvel being such a hit, you might be wondering what other Marvel films are on Netflix. We are sorry to say that the answer is not many.

Since Disney is starting its own streaming service, Marvel films are slowly being taken off Netflix and in the case of Captain Marvel, and any Marvel movie that is released after that, will not be on the streaming service at all.

Doctor Strange and Captain America: Civil War were already removed last year. What movies will disappear this year? Let’s find out!

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2

The first film to be cut this year will be Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. It will say goodbye to the streaming service in May, most likely. The sequel finds us back with the same gang of misfits but this time the mission is much more personal for one of the team.

light. Trending. Marvel movies you can watch on Netflix before Avengers: Endgame

They end up meeting Star-Lord’s (AKA Peter Quill) father (Kurt Russell). But not everything is as it seems and his father turns out not to be the man Peter thought he would be.

You still have a couple of months to watch this intergalactic Marvel film but if it’s one of your faves, start binge watching it now. Groot won’t be around Netflix for too much longer.

Thor: Ragnorak

The other Marvel film to leave will be absolutely heartbreaking. It’s Thor: Ragnorak. *pause for tears* The incredibly popular third film in the Thor franchise will be taken off of Netflix at the very end of 2019, likely December.

The film follows Thor as he and his friends try to save Asgard from his evil sister, Hela. Along the way, he finds his old buddy, Bruce Banner, on the planet of Sakaar where he gets zapped to after trying to chase Hela. He also finds Valkyrie and his own brother, Loki, on the planet and must get their help to return to Asgard to prevent its destruction.

While you still have time, make sure to get in as many viewings as possible. You might even want to get it on DVD/Blu-ray so you never have to be without Thor, Valkyrie, Loki, The Hulk, and the Grandmaster. The Taika Waititi-directed film might just go down as the funniest Marvel film ever made.

The rest of the Marvel movies should be on Netflix a little longer than the end of 2019, but it’s always possible Disney could pull their movies off when they start the streaming service. We’ll be sure to let you know more when we find out more information.
