Stranger Things was a show that I took a chance on because I normally don’t dive into much that falls under the science-fiction genre. However, as I’ve read more and more Stephen King books and enjoyed movies like Star Wars and Annihilation, I’ve become more open to what I check out.

The first two seasons of Stranger Things have been a complete delight to watch and I’m hoping that the third season continues the trend. It’s been quite the wait, too, since the second season premiered on October 27, 2017. With Stranger Things 3 slated for this summer, that’s over a year and a half break.

Despite the wait, fans like myself seem pretty excited about what’s coming next. With that in mind, there has been a lot of news that fans will either want to dive into or completely avoid until the season drops. For those who fall into the latter category, you may as well stop reading this now.

If you’ve been on the Stranger Things train for a while now, you know that this world has a lot to offer. With the release date taking things away from October, it’ll be interesting to see if that has any major effect on the tone of the show.
