A list of 5 good movies on Netflix to watch this weekend, including Abducted in Plain Sight, Paddleton and more.

A new weekend approaches and we need some new entertainment. Don’t worry, you won’t have to swing by a Redbox or movie theater to get your cinema fix. Netflix has got ya covered with some really exciting new releases to watch this February. Here’s a short list to get your weekend viewing started.

Let’s kick things off with a hugely popular documentary that is sure to make your jaw drop with all of its twists and turns:

5. Abducted In Plain Sight

This documentary is having a serious social media moment right now, so you have to give it a watch. The story follows a family in Idaho that willingly participated in the cover-up of their child’s abduction. Twice! Watch this insane flick and then head over to Twitter where you’ll find some of the funniest memes ever.

4. Paddleton

I’m pumped to check out Paddleton this weekend. It’s a low-key dramedy featuring comedic actors Ray Romano and Mark Duplass as two neighbors. When one of the men is diagnosed with a terminal illness, they face the end together as friends.

3. Personal Shopper

This hidden gem features Kristen Stewart as a medium who takes a job as a personal shopper. It’s a dark art house film that won’t please everyone but should go over well with a patient and artistically-minded audience.

2. About a Boy

If you’re looking for something sweet to round out your week, be sure to check out the classic flick About a Boy. Hugh Grant stars as a womanizer who slowly changes his ways after meeting an oddball 12-year-old boy. It’s part comedy, part drama and 100% going to make you swoon. Perfect Friday evening watch.

1. Final Destination

Wanna get the blood pumping? Check out the classic slasher Final Destination. If you’re into it, follow things up by checking out the film’s sequels, which are also currently available on Netflix.
