Can you stream Happy Death Day on Netflix? Unfortunately, you’ll have to pay to stream the movie. It’s not available on Netflix, Hulu or Amazon.

Happy Death Day has become a Valentine’s Day favorite for horror fans, and with Happy Death Day 2U now available in theaters, fans are trying to watch the original before venturing out to see the sequel. So, is Happy Death Day available to stream on Netflix?

Unfortunately, we have some bad news there. The holiday horror movie is not available to stream on Netflix right now. The streaming service often doesn’t get the original movie before the sequel is released. Typically, studios like to control the film’s rights and make would-be viewers buy the movies on DVD and Blu-ray.

And, that’s not the only bad news. Happy Death Day is not available to stream on Hulu, Amazon Prime Video or HBO right now either. As mentioned, that’s probably because Universal Pictures wants you to rent or buy the movie. It is available on SVOD services like Google Play, iTunes, etc. We’ve also confirmed it’s available to watch on FX and on the FX app if you have access to it.
