Black Panther and Marvel star Chadwick Boseman will star in the new Netflix movie Da 5 Bloods from Spike Lee.

Chadwick Boseman, star of Marvel’s Black Panther and Avengers: Infinity War, will star in Spike Lee’s new movie Da 5 Bloods at Netflix, according to a report from Deadline. Jean Reno and Delroy Lindo will star alongside Boseman in the film.

We don’t know much about the film, but based on the Deadline report, it appears the story revolves around five Vietnam veterans who try to find some sort of peace after the war.

Lee will direct the film, and he also teamed with his co-writer from The BlacKkKlansman Kevin Wilmott to write the script for the film.

We haven’t heard a projected release date for the film yet either, but I have a feeling this movie will be released in the fall or winter of 2019 or 2020. This movie has Oscar potential all over it with Boseman, Lee and the makings of a great cast with Lindo and Reno. We’ll let you know more about the film when we find out.

Boseman isn’t the first Avenger to star in a new Netflix original film. Chris Hemsworth, who plays Thor in the Marvel movies, is starring in the Netflix film Dhaka along with Stranger Things star David Harbour. Dhaka is also directed by the Russo Brothers, who also directed Avengers: Infinity War.

You can watch Black Panther, Avengers: Infinity War and all the other recent Marvel movies on Netflix now. Unfortunately, Captain Marvel and Avengers: Endgame, which Boseman will star in, will not be released on Netflix. Instead, they are moving to Disney+ when it launches later this year.

We will let you know more about Da 5 Bloods when we find out! Stay tuned.
