Fans have been dreading the departure of Chelsea Peretti from Brooklyn Nine-Nine and now it’s finally upon us. Find out more about Gina’s exit in our preview of “Four Movements” below.

As sad as it makes us, tonight’s episode of Brooklyn Nine-Nine will be the last one to feature Gina (Chelsea Peretti) in a featured role. Peretti announced that she’d be leaving the 99th Precinct in late 2018 but no one wants to see her go. And while that’s a reality we as fans have to cope with, there’s still one episode left.

In tonight’s episode of Brooklyn Nine-Nine, the squad will apparently throw a going away party for Gina as she begins her entrepreneurial career elsewhere. Entertainment Weekly released an exclusive clip which depicts the gang planning Gina’s party.

When the clip opens, Jake (Andy Samberg), Charles (Joe Lo Truglio), and Gina are all discussing how big the party should be. Gina obviously needs to make a statement with her final episode so she wants to make a splash. Jake suggests they get a celebrity to drop in but his choice is a bit odd.

Detective Peralta proposes that they hire the cameraman who filmed a rat smoking a vape pen but Gina wants the rat. Jake, however, assumes the rat is a ball of tumors by now—making him unsure of how possible it will be to book the furry critter.

Apart from that brief exchange, the preview of “Four Movements” doesn’t reveal much else about the extravaganza that is Gina’s goodbye. Keeping details secreted is probably a good move too since fans are expecting a grand exit for their favorite character—and it would be a real shame if spoilers ruined the episode for people who’ve fallen in love with Peretti’s character over the last five years.

Hopefully, Dan Goor and the writers on Brooklyn Nine-Nine have crafted a tasteful goodbye for Peretti because she definitely deserves it—anything less would be unacceptable.
