New on Netflix: Incredibles 2

The movie the entire world waited 14 years for is finally available to stream on Netflix. Incredibles 2 is new on Netflix as of today.

The ultimate movie every Netflix user has been waiting for is now available to stream. Incredibles 2 is officially new on Netflix. So get streaming, everyone.

We had to wait over 14 years for the sequel to arrive in theaters, and even longer if you’ve been waiting for it to arrive on Netflix. The wait has been excruciating but it was totally worth it in the end.

Kicking off exactly where The Incredibles left off in 2004, the entire Parr family is back with Craig T. Nelson as Bob Parr / Mr. Incredible, Holly Hunter as Helen Parr / Elastigirl, Sarah Vowell as Violet Parr, Huck Milner as Dashiell Parr, and Eli Fucile Jack-Jack Parr.

Samuel L. Jackson is also back as Lucius Best / Frozone, as is Brad Bird as Edna Mode, a.k.a “NO CAPES!”

However, while we’ve got all the returning characters from The Incredibles the storyline has completely flipped in Incredibles 2. While Mr. Incredible was the main focus in the first movie with him going out and completing secret missions and Elastigirl at home with the kids. This time, it is the other way round.

Elastigirl is out fighting crime and Mr. Incredible is home taking care of the kids. Something he soon realizes is much harder to do than fight crime, especially with little Jack Jack discovering his powers.

There is something here for everyone with Incredibles 2. Best of all, even though it is technically a kids movie, there are more storylines aimed at the adults than the kids. Considering it took so long to make the sequel, this is actually a good thing. Because most of the kids who watched The Incredibles are adults now.

With the success of Incredibles 2, a lot of fans are now asking if we will get an Incredibles 3. Nothing has been confirmed about a third movie of the superhero family yet but it is understood that there are high hopes of creating one. Fingers crossed if one is giving the greenlight it won’t take 14 years to make.
