Netflix sends a stern warning to people who keep calling Ted Bundy “hot” after watching Conversations with a Killer: The Ted Bundy Tapes.

The new documentary series Conversations with a Killer: The Ted Bundy Tapes is currently streaming on Netflix, and some viewers can’t stop talking about how hot they think Ted is. The series dropped 30 years to the day of when Ted Bundy was executed in the electric chair at Florida State Prison.

Netflix issued a warning a warning via Twitter about Bundy’s “alleged hotness” earlier this week.

We shared the tweet below.

I binged the series this weekend and honestly am confused as to why people keep lusting after him. It is clear, through the interviews, that Bundy was a truly evil man who cared for no one but himself. There is a look of darkness and almost soullessness to his eyes.

Bundy confessed to 30 murders shortly before his death and viewers get to hear his own words on tape talking about the killings. We also get to see the televised Florida trial and Bundy’s thoughts on his lawyers and the case. He felt railroaded by his lawyers and the system.

The series gives an inside look into the mind of one of the world’s most infamous serial killers, and I have to say, it is disturbing, but you also can’t help but get sucked into it. So what is it about Ted that seems to charm many?

The tapes showed us not just his wicked mind but also his smooth charm. Bundy manipulates the press, his lawyers and anyone willing to listen to him. From his behavior and the way he talks to people, I can see why some may have fallen under his spell in the 1970’s and 1980’s.

Even the Florida Judge who sentences him remarks on how it is such a shame that Bundy was so smart and could have done anything with his life but instead chose to kill.

Possibly furthering the idea of Bundy being hot is the fact that the trailer for the upcoming Bundy film Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile dropped, and it features heart-throb Zac Efron playing Bundy.

I’m with Netflix on this one, there are literally thousands of hot guys on the streaming service who haven’t been responsible for killing dozens of women.
