According to a Netflix and Dreamworks PR rep, She-Ra and the Princesses of Power season 2 will be available to stream on April 26, which is not too far away.

She-Ra and the Princesses of Power was a risk for Netflix, but it paid off tremendously in terms of a positive addition to the streaming giant’s lineup of original content.

If you ignore the (stupid) controversy surrounding the way she was drawn – people really wanted an animated character to look different – then everything out of the first season of She-Ra has been relatively positive.

The writing is great, as is (obviously) the animation, and it has quickly amassed a huge following online. You can find She-Ra fans everywhere you look online, whether it’s fans talking about the series on Twitter or fanart on Tumblr and Instagram or even fanfiction.

The better news is that an active online fanbase is great for any series but especially great for a series on a streaming service. Word of mouth really helps to spread a series like this far and wide, especially when Netflix has not really done an amazing job at advertising the series.
