Wondering when Lucifer season 4 will premiere on Netflix? All signs point to a Spring 2019 release date.

After a successful campaign to save Lucifer when the series was canceled by Fox, Netflix picked up the popular series with. Season 4 will be released in the near future, but when?

The expected date for Lucifer season 4 is Spring 2019. With news of production already being broken, a cast member Aimee Garcia let slip that the expected release date would be sometime “in April or May.” This makes sense, as enough time will have passed between season 3 and production for them to release Lucifer season 4 in Spring 2019.

So while it may have seemed like a lifetime since season 3 ended, we’re not as far away from season 4 — and the series’ premiere on Netflix — as you might think.

Netflix has not confirmed the release estimate yet. We’ll be sure to let you know more when we find out!

Recently, I just finished Lucifer season three after two weeks of binge-watching the first three seasons on Netflix. The series, which I assumed would get a little stale after a while, continued to remain interesting well into the third season — something that not many shows with such a far-off premise can do.

It’s safe to say that this can likely be chalked up to the way in which there is a CSI-style mystery from episode to episode. Lucifer isn’t just a TV series based off of a DC character who just so happens to be the devil; it’s a crime procedural, too.

While each episode has some sort of tie-in to the supernatural or a previous episode, most episodes have a mystery that gets solved by the end and makes for a break from the overall over-the-top-ness of the whole thing.

Netflix has the potential to make Lucifer even better than it was on Fox, so make sure to stay tuned to any and all new and updates here at Netflix Life!
