The Perfect Date: Noah Centineo, Camila Mendes star in new Netflix movie

Riverdale star Camila Mendes and To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before Star Noah Centineo will star in Netflix’s The Perfect Date.

To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before fans and Riverdale fans are going to love this new Netflix original movie! Netflix announced Noah Centineo, Camila Mendes and Laura Marano will star in the new movie The Perfect Date. 

We don’t know much about the movie other than what Netflix announced. In the film, Centineo plays a young man who creates an app where people can hire him to be their boyfriend for an evening or extended period of time.

Based on the premise, I have a feeling Centineo’s character might fall for a few of his customers.

As mentioned, Centineo is best known for his role in Netflix’s To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before. In the film, he stars as Lara Jean’s (Lana Condor) boyfriend Peter Kavinsky. To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before 2 is officially in the works at Netflix. Since the film premiered, Centineo, as well as Condor, are well on their way to becoming major TV/movie stars.

Fans will also recognize Mendes from The CW’s Riverdale, which is also a Netflix original series around the world (Non-US). In the series, she plays Veronica Lodge, one of the show’s central characters and the other half of Varchie, aka Veronica plus Archie Andrews (KJ Apa).

You’ve also seen Marano in Austin & Ally, Back To You, and Without A Trace. 

Netflix has not announced the release date for The Perfect Date yet. Based on the fact that the film has already been, well, filmed, or has started at least, the film will likely be released on the streaming service around the world sometime in 2019. Hopefully, it arrives just in time for Valentine’s Day!
