What was the most popular Netflix show in your home state in 2018? It’s probably 13 Reasons Why, The End of the F***ing World, Orange is the New Black, Daredevil or Stranger Things.

High Speed Internet released their annual list of the most popular Netflix shows by state for 2018, and the results might surprise you. According to their findings, 13 Reasons Why was the most popular show in seven states in 2018. That was the highest total number of states for one series.

Surprisingly, The End of the F***ing World, the British series, was no. 2, and it was the most popular show in six states.

Orange is the New Black followed with five states, while Daredevil and Stranger Things were the most popular shows in four states each. Those final two shows should be surprising to some because Daredevil was just canceled and Stranger Things hasn’t released new episodes since October 2017.

There is a ton of diversity of Netflix shows on this list, and I think that just proves how popular Netflix is as a whole and how well they are doing at producing their own content. Only Breaking Bad/Better Call Saul and Riverdale and Jane the Virgin are the only shows represented that aren’t true Netflix originals in the United States.
