Zack – “The One With the Donor” – S9E22

In the years between Full House and Fuller House, John Stamos appeared on numerous television shows, including Friends.

In the ninth season, Monica and Chandler are exploring their options to become parents after learning that their odds of conceiving a biological child are low. One of their choices involves using a sperm donor, so Chandler brings his co-worker Zack home for dinner. Zack, played by Stamos, thinks that it’s just a friendly invitation to socialize. The Bings, however, have ulterior motives.

Throughout the dinner, the couple question Zack about his medical and genetic history, noting his great hair and perfect teeth. Zack is, unsurprisingly, creeped out by the line of questioning and decides to leave. Monica decides that she couldn’t have gone through with it anyway, explaining that she wouldn’t want to have another man’s child.

Aside from Friends, Stamos’ TV roles included a run on NBC’s hit medical show, ER and Fox’s Glee. In addition to Netflix’s Fuller House, he’s currently appearing in Scream Queens. On a related note, Stamos was married to Rebecca Romijn at the time of his Friends guest appearance. Several years earlier, Romijn had also been in an episode of Friends. She was the scientist with the filthy apartment that Ross once dated.
