This British documentary series from David Attenborough racked up the positive reviews from fans and critics alike and many Emmy nominations.

The first episode ‘Challenges of Life’ is gripping as it shows the challenges animals and plants must do to survive and reproduce in a complicated and competitive world.

The second episode is one of my favorites because it’s all about reptiles and amphibians. Seeing a Komodo dragon on the screen is such a majestic thing that I’d probably freeze in my tracks if I ever crossed its path in the wild.

If that is my favorite, my second favorite is the ‘Creatures of the Deep’ episode near the end of the season where we get to see creatures that have never seen the light of day. These marine invertebrates range from some of the most primitive creatures on the planet to some of the most intelligent.
