Glitch came to Netflix in mid-October and made a huge impression right away. The Australian drama has elements of The Returned/Les Revenants, Sense 8 and Lost and I think viewers need to check this show out.
Six people climb out of their graves int he opening scene of the pilot episode and are in perfect health, although covered head-to-toe in dirt. A policeman and a doctor retrieve the six bodies thinking they’re on drugs or something but they’re not and they have to keep this a secret from the other police because one of the resurrected is the police officer’s dead wife.
James thought he lost his wife two years ago but now Kate is staring him in the face and he wants to keep her safe, but he also needs to keep her a secret because there are others who want to examine the resurrected and study them. But there’s a problem because they can’t leave town without having their eyes bleed and their bodies turn to dust.
The biggest question is: Why were these people chosen to come back to life and what will they do with their second chance at life?
