Lucifer is one of the best shows on Netflix. Based on the stories of DC Comics character by Neil Gaiman, Lucifer tells the story of Lucifer Morningstar, played by Tom Ellis, after he leaves Hell and starts working as a consultant for the LAPD. That’s where the series stars anyway; it’s so much more than that.

The series premiered on FOX and ran for three seasons on the network before it was canceled. Netflix picked up the show and renewed the show for season 4 and season 5. The most recent episodes were added in August 2020. The remaining episodes of the fifth season are coming to Netflix in 2021.

Lucifer is coming back for a sixth and final season on Netflix. Originally, season 5 was going to be the last season, but Netflix renewed the series for 10 more episodes to the delight of Lucifer fans around the world.
